Some clarification is needed:
The podcast says often one cannot appeal to the Supreme Court from a failed NCAT hearing. To be specific, this is true when one appeals a Guardianship Division decision - there is an option to appeal at the NCAT Appeal Panel or the Supreme Court (but not both). An Administrative & Equal Opportunities Division decision
must be appealed
in the NCAT Appeal Panel first and then, if that fails, a further appeal in the Supreme Court.
While audio recording is forbidden in NCAT hearings an official recording is archived for seven years and can be bought for $47.
